Arboriculture Services

Arboricultural Service

We have over 25 years of arboricultural experience that ranges between surveying single trees for residential customers, up to managing large scale contracts for our clients that are made up of multiply sites with various complex constraints and pressures that needed to be overcome.

We provide the following services

  • Health and condition surveys and inspections
    • in order to help manage populations of trees as a valued asset to your property and to minimise the risk to the public and 3rd party property and so your duty as a landowner is achieved.
  • BS5837 Trees in relation to construction surveys- please further details
    • To support planning applications submitted to the Local Authority
    • Tree surveys, constraint maps and Arboricultural Impact Assessments
    • Tree Protection Plans and Arboricultural Method Statements
  • Mortgage reports
    • To determine the direct and indirect risk of damage to buildings and structures associated with trees on property to aid and inform the purchasing process.
  • Utility surveys
    • We can carry out surveys of utility infrastructures including road, rail, power lines and hold current NPTC UA5 certification for surveying overhead power lines.

BS5837 Trees in relation to construction surveys

We have carried out surveys and provided reports for tree populations on various sites that have ranged from small private residential properties to facilitate planning applications for new builds and extensions to existing properties as well as for larger industrial and commercial sites such as shopping centres and hospitals.

All our surveys to date have helped gain planning consent by finding ideal solutions to tricky constraints that achieved the right balance between retaining trees in a safe and healthy condition against the key elements of the proposed design plans.

We can assume the role of nominated Arboriculturist to provide on-site supervision and advice throughout the construction phase of the project to ensure that the control measures are fully implemented and maintained throughout.

An example of a tree constraints plan (image 1) and Tree Protection Plan (image 2) that we produce. Once the initial site surveys are completed on site using our data capture app, we then using mapping software to create the plans that visualise the various above and below ground tree constraints and then to show how the trees will be protected.
