Tree clearance near power line
Trees were cleared adjacent to an overhead power line to achieve a long term resilience clearance. Some of the trees were seriously damaged from fire caused by vandals. Behind the tree line was a canal tow path used by pedestrians. Not only is the power line now storm resilient, the risk to pedestrians is now greatly reduced. Access to the site was poor, so brash was converted into a tidy habitat pile on the field headland to help further promote nature.
